- Comhaltas - organisation founded in Westmeath dedicated to promoting irish traditional music, art and culture worldwide.
- Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) - a not for profit public archive and collection of music, printed items, manuscripts, visual documentation and artefacts.
- Contemporary Music Centre, Ireland - a not for profit organisation promoting the creation and dissemination of new Irish music throughout the world. In addition to archives, they also are involved in outreach and education programmes.
- Showbands - (and the showband era at Jivenaires.com) perhaps not what most people worldwide would think of when Irish music is mentioned, but an important part of Ireland's musical history nonetheless. Most of the artists listed on this site cut their musical eye teeth in showbands.
- Music Network - A national organisation that brings live music to places and people who wouldn't otherwise be able to be exposed to it.
