About the Artist

Noel Cox is a native of Mullingar and this is his first album. Having graduated from the Cathedral Choir in his native town he became a valued member of St. Paul's Folk Group. In later years, in broadening his repertoire he was the vocalist with the late Patsy Farrell's group and also played bodhran.
Apart from singing, Noel is a keen fan of harmonica player Davy Hynes and also assists him with his radio show - Westmeath Gold Showcase, which features mainly Midlands based recording artists.

About the Album:

The songs on the album were especially selected for him by his producer - Vinnie Baker with the assisance of mentors Davy Hynes and Ollie Kennedy. You will be familiar with many of those songs but you will enjoy the special treatment given by Noel to the selection in by the Gasyard Wall
