Many people greatly enjoy listening to his humorous recitations that are regularly featured in GAA Scor competitions, and there's no one who is better at presenting them than Christy Duffy. Christy, who runs the Quick Step Shoe repair and key cutting shop at the Shopping Mall, Oliver Plunkett Street, Mullingar, is a native of Bunbrosna and it was while representing his native Bunbrosna in Scor the he gained the top national award, winning an All Ireland Senior Scor title for his storytelling in 1978. The genial Christy has also won at least three Leinster Senior Scor titles, thanks to his recitation skills and some of them his own compositions.
