Vinny has played most of his life on the Showband circuit as guitarist with Jim Tobin & Firehouse, Dermot Hegarty and the Plainsmen, Bluegrass Fiddler George Kaye, and Irish Rock Showband, and The Times from Mullingar. He's been doing solo gigs and guitar session work in various studios. Currently teaching guitar, playing gigs and running VeeBee recording studio from home.

Can be heard on several albums and singles by Dermot Hegarty, Brian Harkin, The Times, and as session guitar on numerous country albums in Ireland. Recently, Vinny had three of his original Country songs featured on a Universal Country Association compilation album released. in the U.K and Europe. His latest solo release is his current album "So..?" featuring vocals and guitar.
